Big Boy Pie

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1 lb ground beef
• 2 tablespoons catsup or 2 tablespoons chili sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups biscuit mix
• 2/3 cup milk
• 1 cup cooked tomato, drained
• 1 cup grated cheese

Recipe

• 1 ssaute onion in shortening until golden.
• 2 add meat and brown.
• 3 drain well.
• 4 stir in catsup and salt.
• 5 set aside.
• 6 stir milk into biscuit mix, stirring until well blended.
• 7 turn onto a lightly floured board.
• 8 knead six times.
• 9 roll into a circular shape and place in a 9 inch pie pan.
• 10 fill with meat and onion mixture.
• 11 cover with tomatoes and top with grated cheese.
• 12 bake in a 450*f oven for 30 minutes.
