Baked Onions Topped With French Bread

Ingredients

- 2 large sweet onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 8 slices french bread, buttered both sides
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 cook onions in butter for 15 minutes until real soft.
- 3 arrange onions in greased 12x7 pan for baking.
- 4 sprinkle cheese over entire top.
- 5 blend soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper.
- 6 pour over cheese and onions and mix slightly.
- 7 arrange bread over top.
- 8 bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
