Barb's Cold Comfort Tea

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon echinacea root
- 1 tablespoon peppermint leaf
- 1 tablespoon catnip, leaves
- 1 tablespoon yarrow leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon balm leaves
- honey, if desired
- lemon, if desired
Recipe
- 1 to decoct: add 1 cup of water and about 1/4 tsp echinacea to a pot and bring to a boil.
- 2 simmer, covered for 20 minutes.
- 3 combine the other herbs and add about 1 tsp of the mixture to the pot.
- 4 stir well, remove from heat, cover and steep 10-15 minutes.
- 5 strain and serve hot with honey and lemon, if desired.
- 6 to brew: combine all ingredients.
- 7 boil water, pour one cup over one tsp of herbs for each cub.
- 8 steep 10-15 minutes.
- 9 strain and serve hot with honey and lemon, if desired.
