Bhuni Kaleji

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 kg liver (kalegi)
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • salt
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 3 -5 mint leaves

Recipe

  • 1 cut liver and boil it with a little water, salt and turmeric powder for 6 minutes.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 cut the liver into medium bite-sized pieces.
  • 4 mix all the remaining ingredients together alongwith the liver pieces.
  • 5 string the pieces onto skewers.
  • 6 grill/roast on charcoal.
  • 7 alternatively, fry in hot oil and drain on clean kitchen napkins before serving.
  • 8 serve with mint leaves.
