Ingredients

• 6 cups blackberries
• 1/2 cup water
• 6 cups sugar
• 2 oranges, juice of
• 1 grated orange, zest of
• 1 lemon, juice of

Recipe

• 1 cook the berries with the water in a large stock pot until soft.
• 2 rub berries thru a sieve to remove seeds.
• 3 return mashed berries to pot.
• 4 add the sugar, juice of oranges and lemon, and the orange zest; stir to combine.
• 5 boil until thickened. ladle into hot sterilized jars.
• 6 add lids and bands and allow to cool completely.
