Banana Breakfast Bars

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sweet unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 2 -3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup golden raisin

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter & sugar together then add the egg.
  • 2 stir in the oats, bananas, salt, & cinnamon.
  • 3 mix in the nuts & raisins (if using).
  • 4 spread the mixture in a greased 9x13 pan then bake for 30-35 minutes on 350 degrees.
  • 5 cool in the pan then cut into bars.
