Banana Bars

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 32
  • 1 cup ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces light sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • frosting
  • 8 ounces light cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350f.
  • 2 cream butter and sugar together.
  • 3 add sour cream, eggs, banana,and vanilla and mix well.
  • 4 slowly add flour, baking powder and baking soda and continue mixing.
  • 5 pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  • 6 bake for 25 minutes.
  • 7 cool before frosting.
  • 8 combine all frosting ingredients in a bowl and beat with a hand mixer until desired consistency is reached.
  • 9 you may need to add more confectioner's sugar.
  • 10 frost and slice into bars, refridgerating any uneaten portions.
  • 11 enjoy!
