Banana Bars

Ingredients

- 1 cup ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 8 ounces light sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- frosting
- 8 ounces light cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350f.
- 2 cream butter and sugar together.
- 3 add sour cream, eggs, banana,and vanilla and mix well.
- 4 slowly add flour, baking powder and baking soda and continue mixing.
- 5 pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
- 6 bake for 25 minutes.
- 7 cool before frosting.
- 8 combine all frosting ingredients in a bowl and beat with a hand mixer until desired consistency is reached.
- 9 you may need to add more confectioner's sugar.
- 10 frost and slice into bars, refridgerating any uneaten portions.
