Baked Chicken Dijon With Swiss Cheese

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/3 cup nonfat plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 4 lb.)
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350°.
  • 2 the sauce-in a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients; taste for seasoning and adjust.
  • 3 place the chicken in a lightly sprayed or oiled 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper (optional).
  • 4 spread the sauce on top of the chicken.
  • 5 bake, uncovered, until the chicken is cooked through, about 35 minutes.
  • 6 sprinkle with the cheese and bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes longer.
