Baked Pancakes With Sausage

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 lb lamb sausage link
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 5 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons shortening, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450 degrees f.
  • 2 grease well (or spray) a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan.
  • 3 cook sausages over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  • 4 drain and set aside.
  • 5 sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt, set aside.
  • 6 in a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy.
  • 7 add milk and shortening; mix well.
  • 8 gradually stir in dry ingredients until smooth.
  • 9 pour the batter into the prepared jelly roll pan.
  • 10 arrange sausages on top of the batter.
  • 11 bake for 15 minutes, in the preheated oven, or until pancakes are cooked through.
  • 12 cut into 10 pieces and serve hot with butter and syrup.
