Baked Pancakes With Sausage

Ingredients

- 1 lb lamb sausage link
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons shortening, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450 degrees f.
- 2 grease well (or spray) a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan.
- 3 cook sausages over medium high heat until evenly brown.
- 4 drain and set aside.
- 5 sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt, set aside.
- 6 in a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy.
- 7 add milk and shortening; mix well.
- 8 gradually stir in dry ingredients until smooth.
- 9 pour the batter into the prepared jelly roll pan.
- 10 arrange sausages on top of the batter.
- 11 bake for 15 minutes, in the preheated oven, or until pancakes are cooked through.
- 12 cut into 10 pieces and serve hot with butter and syrup.
